Karla in the studio
hi, I'm the human behind the flowers
Meet Karla
Trained as an architect, I give every celebration real structure — depth, scale, where the eye lands — then let it grow wild with color and a little bit of drama. The flowers should feel like they were born right there. Some of them were: they come from my own garden.
I don't start with the flowers. I start with the two of you.

Kind words
from people who threw a party
Karla is an artist. She doesn't make wedding flowers: she makes flowers that make your wedding stand out. Everyone — young, old, male, female, everyone — commented on how cool the flowers were.
I couldn't stop looking at my bouquet and the arrangements all day. It was what we wanted and somehow still more gorgeous than expected.
Every thoughtful and colorful detail of our wedding was handled so precisely and executed perfectly. Not only the best vendor — I walked away with a great friend too.
I showed her my Pinterest board and that was all the direction I gave — and boy did she deliver.
It was clear she was excited about our vision from our very first phone call, and worked with us to make it better than we imagined.
We were blown away with the flower design. She went above and beyond — 1000 times better than what we were expecting.
Let's talk details
A few things couples usually want to know about budgets, locations and what happens after you say hello.
How much should I budget for wedding flowers?
Every wedding is custom, so there isn’t one honest number that fits every celebration. Your floral budget depends on the venue, scale and the pieces that matter most to you. Share the range you’re considering in the inquiry, and I’ll shape our first conversation around what it can do.
Where do you design weddings?
I’m based in New York’s Hudson Valley and design weddings throughout the region. If your venue is farther afield, add the location to your inquiry and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
What is your wedding floral design process?
We start with your inquiry, then meet for a discovery call to talk through the day and dream a little. From there, I create a visual proposal drawn to scale, we fine-tune the details and budget together, and a contract and retainer make it official.
Do I need a venue and every detail figured out first?
Not at all. Your date and venue can both be undecided when you reach out. Tell me what you know, what you’re drawn to and what still feels fuzzy. We can start there.
Will our wedding flowers feel completely custom?
Yes. The process has a clear structure, but the result starts with who you are, not a package or a look I repeat. The goal is for you to walk in and immediately recognize yourselves in the space.
How quickly will I hear back after I inquire?
I read every inquiry myself and reply within 48–72 hours. If it feels like a fit, the next step is a video call where we can meet, talk through your celebration and ask all the questions.
